Deiahdehl History

Deiahdehl, is the name of the musical project created by the artist Jeronimo Mouton, which was founded in 1985 as a result of the musical ideas that the artist himself began to develop.

The idea of “Deiahdehl” as a band, began to materialize in the early 90s with the first group that included the pianist and producer Miguel Ángel Vera and the keyboardist Xavi Martin. Shortly after, Jeronimo's co-founder and partner, Misericordia Deiah, would also join the project.

In 1993, as a result of the group's separation, Jeronimo maintained the Deiahdehl idea and began the stage of solo creation (always in collaboration with Misericordia Deiah) of musical pieces and fragments according to the inspiration he received thanks to his travels through different countries in Europe, America and Asia.

Between 2004 and 2016, Deiahdehl went through an important stage, his compositions were directed towards a New Age style and he put many of his compositions at the service of the holistic, spiritual and meditative sphere. As a result of this stage, the three albums currently available are published: Magical Shores (2004), Seven Stories (2013) and Landscapes of Silence (2016). In the three albums Jeronimo uses the flutes of different ethnicities, Synthesizers, Percussions and Voices, Misericordia Deiah also collaborates on the voices and percussions.

Within that stage, specifically in 2014, Deiahdehl was awarded by the Akademia Music Awards in Hollywood, with the song Triangulo Verde for best piece in the instrumental music section.
